Hello, to everyone reading this! Since I’ve done several posts now on makeup brushes in my collection:
BeautyAddicts on Jeopardy® and prior to that: M·A·C Cine-Matics Brushes & Nordstrom , I realized that I should tell readers why I chose certain brushes. However, as I am not a makeup artist, just a Beauty Addict, some of my reasons are personal preference; and I should have an Expert explain how one should intelligently choose brushes for their needs. I therefore, wrote to such an “Expert” to get advice.
Meanwhile, a reader, (“Yeah, Shy Girl!) left a very nice comment for me after the BeautyAddicts on Jeopardy® post. I’m going to repost it, as it was a public comment, left on my blog:
“excellent job on those brushes! i, like Edie, tend to accumulate lip glosses. lately, i’ve been into eye liners and trying to find the perfect one. as for brushes…please share your tips on finding the right ones. there are millions of them on the market, and they run from cheap & cheaply made to very expensive. some help sorting them out would be nice.”
Ah, yes, well, as they say, “…the best laid plans.” I was going to try to keep this a secret, but since Shy Girl posted for everyone, and asked a very intelligent question seeking advice, I feel that I have to blow the cover of the secret special guest Makeup Brush Expert that I will be interviewing. She has very kindly volunteered to help us (that would include me), with tips, suggestions, etc. When asked if I could reveal her official title at the company, her response was, and I quote, “Furless.”

First, I would have to disclose that information, by law, in the disclosure at the bottom of the post. Second, I have already purchased a variety of makeup brushes from The Expert, to add to my ever-growing collection.
Now, Ms. Furless is quite busy working, but soon I will have a post about the company, and a guide to purchasing makeup brushes!

These are now my favorite brushes. I do not make any money for writing that, either….for full disclosure.
I have something to disclose: My cat Bubba LOVES makeup brushes and thinks they are cat toys, so Jen has to keep hers put out of reach.
BOL!! Rumpy! My Bernese Mountain Dog Girls will be so delighted to hear that you visited their Mom’s blog! I’m so honored you took time out of your day to visit here! Thank you for sharing that information about Bubba, but I will not let Bubba know that you wrote and told me. I can certainly understand why anyone, 2 or 4 legged, would want to play with makeup brushes. However, it’s probably a very smart thing that Jen hides them. Thanks fur friend! x
