The Konjac Company has a lovely French Pink Clay Konjac Sponge that I will review today. This is my third post on Konjac sponges. Just to review, a Konjac Sponge is from the root of the Amorphophallus konjac plant. This is an edible plant, naturally rich with moisture, and by it’s nature, is alkaline.
This is special because it’s natural alkalinity balances the acidity of your skin and its oils.
Konjac Sponges are:
100% natural sponge
100% coloring free
100% additive free
100% biodegradable
Naturally sustainable
Soft & gentle
pH balanced
Naturally deep cleansing
Environmentally safe
Kind to the environment & skin
Perfect for hypersenstive skin & suitable for skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis
The next sponge that I have been using and will review is:![]()
If you look at the 100% natural konjac fibre sponge, you will see its net-like structure. This is important because by gently massaging your skin, you stimulate blood flow and new growth of skin cells
The Pink Clay sponge is for sensitive, easily irritated skin, as well as dehydrated skins. It can be used by those wishing to turn their rough and hardened skin, into soft and radiant skin. I would hope that none of my readers would need it for this purpose, because you should always wear sunscreen; however…perhaps you applied sunscreen but didn’t reapply again after getting out of the water, or you missed a spot on your skin. In that case, this particular sponge is also excellent if you have been in the sun too long. It is very soothing.

How do you use the French Pink Clay Sponge?
Rinse before you use and allow the Konjac Sponge to fully absorb the water.
Squeeze out excess water, but do not wring!
Gently massage your face in a circular motion.
After you use, rinse well, squeeze out excess water, and allow it to dry. Using the sponge does not require any extra cleanser. However, if you do, use a lot less than you usually would.
Reminders: Do not wring out your sponge, and do not leave it in the shower/tub. Hang in a cool and well ventilated area to dry. It’s very easy to hang to dry, as a string is attached to the sponge!
In conjunction with this latest review, The Konjac Sponge Company has very generously offered to send a sample of the French Pink Clay to a lucky National or International reader. (Konjac Sponges is located in the UK).
Check back tomorrow, as I will be posting the Giveaway with Rafflecopter.
