Today I have a review of the Limited Edition Pixi Beauty Palette: Pretty Eye Perfection. This cruelty free Palette contains twelve eye shades.

Pretty Eye Perfection comes in a simple, but very attractive, cardboard package. That’s in line with Pixi’s philosophy to use minimum packaging that can be recycled so waste is minimized.
After lifting off the lid, there is a plastic cover to protect the eye shadows.
I have numbered the eye shadows, as Pixi does not have any names for the colors.
These first four shadows blew my mind in terms of color intensity and softness. SO amazingly pigmented and really soft.
#1 is a dark forest green with some gold shimmer
#2 is a deep aubergine with some red shimmer
#3 is a blue with gold shimmer
#4 is a copper gold shimmer
#5 is a vanilla shimmer
#6 is a taupe brown shimmer
#7 is a bright lilac with shimmer
#8 is a matte in a chocolate brown color
#9 is a metallic bronze
#10 is a pink shimmer
#11 is a lilac with gold shimmer
#12 is a pink shimmer
The last section I swatched a second time, since I had a hard time seeing a difference between the colors #10 and #12. To my eye, they look very similar, even in the pan. Here are new swatches of the colors #9-12, taken with a flash.
The pans are small (5.52g/0.192oz)
My thoughts of the Pixi Beauty Pretty Eye Perfection Palette:
All of the colors were incredibly pigmented and they were very soft when applying to my eyes! With the exception of the colors #10 and #12, which in my palette, were so similar, I love that there there were, as advertised, a variety of colors for “Luminous Lids,” and that they were also silky and blendable. Although the size of the shadow pans are small, I think it’s still a great little Palette. At the time of this post, this limited edition Palette is available at the Pixi Beauty Website. You may find it at your local Target store, but unlikely as it is a limited edition.
