True Beauty Box. What is it?

True Beauty Box is for you if you love to try different natural and cruelty free cosmetics and skin care! This is a new monthly service that launched in December of 2012. Here’s how it works. Unlike other beauty boxes where you may or may not receive items that are cruelty free, Love True Natural is the company that is running the True Beauty Box. Love True Natural is a 100% natural and cruelty free beauty company.

While I encourage everyone to always double-check, True Beauty Box does guarantee that all of the products that members receive will be free of: Parabens, PEG, Phthalates, Petrochemicals, and synthetic colors.

Another great feature of the True Beauty Box is that every month there are three to four FULL Size products, plus you will receive samples. In addition, True Beauty Box members will have exclusive access to sales and special prices on the Love True Natural website. The members-only promo codes are for 15% Off on LoveTrueNatural.com.

I followed the same steps that any member would to receive a box. I took a beauty profile quiz at www.truebeautybox.com and then I choose the style of box I wanted (Flirt, Veganista, or Indulge). After the quiz I submitted the information and was sent the Flirt Box in Organically On Trend. It was that easy.

True Beauty Box is a month to month program, and you will receive a “sneak peak” of each beauty profile on the 12th of each month. They do that because they want to make certain that you’re going to love what you receive. By having a month to month program, it means that you not only don’t have to make a commitment, but each month you can re-take the beauty quiz for a different beauty profile and box style. Of course, there is also the option to skip or cancel by the 15th of each month.

Just remember that after the initial charge (for your first Box), you will automatically be charged on the 16th of each month if you do not notify them.

There is usually a card to describe what is in the box, but since it was sent to me a few days ahead of schedule, mine did not have one.

Benecos Nail Polish – free of Formaldehyde, Toluene, Camphor, Phthalates, and Colophony

Lavera Tinted Moisturizer – 100% natural, tinted moisturizer that is enriched with vitamins, minerals and organic Aloe Vera.

Lavera Mattifying Mineral Finish - This mineral powder gives skin a soft, velvety finish.

Sante Lipgloss in the color Rose Wood.

Monthly Goodie was Sassy Knots. Sassy Knots are available in Headbands and Hair Ties. I received a hair tie and it’s great because it doesn’t snag my hair and it also doesn’t leave an annoying dent in my hair. Each hand-tied band is treated with a fray-resistant process. Great extra!

Check out Benecos nail polish in Deep Plum. A really rich, beautiful color. I have only one coat of polish and a top coat. I took this under various lights so you could see the dark, dramatic plum color. I had no trouble applying the polish and it’s so impressive that I was able to do my manicure with only one coat!!

Sante Lipgloss in Rose Wood:

A glittery lipgloss in a jar. This will give a beautiful shine to your lips. You could apply it by itself, or top of a lipstick. This was very moisturizing!

Lavera Mattifying Mineral Finish - This mineral loose powder gives skin a soft, velvety finish. Why would you use it? Loose powder will extend lip & eye makeup, and provides a finish over liquid makeup or tinted moisturizer.

I love that Lavera includes a puff with a band for you to hold to make it even easier to apply the loose powder!

It depends on whether you choose the Flirt, Veganista, or Indulge. The Indulge is more expensive, so just be aware before you give your credit card number! I have only 1 box, the Flirt, which is $30.
