Painted Earth
This is the second time I am writing about products from the company Painted Earth. The previous post, concentrating on some of the scrubs that are available, can be found by clicking on the link: Painted Earth. Just a reminder that Painted Earth is comprised of all organic and natural products. They are cruelty free, have no parabens, and do not use animal by-products (vegan).
Here is a photo of all the Painted Earth items I will be reviewing:
I’ll start with one that is listed as being a limited edition:
Painted Earth Mineral Silk Radiance Powder
Yes, it’s a blush, but looking at it, it’s certainly beyond your typical blush. Check out the beautiful compact, with mirror:
slightly different lighting:
If you saw this on display in a makeup counter, you would expect to pay more than Painted Earth is selling it for: $34.50.
The Mineral Silk Radiance, is more of a highlighter, than a blush, per se. I used this on my cheeks, over my blush, and on my brow bone right under my eyebrow. Wait until you see how it will make your eyes really “pop.” You will have a nice subtly luminosity.
Worried that this will accentuate any lines you may have on your face? This is formulated with argan oil, so it will help set your foundation and blush, and not settle into fine lines. Rice Silk in the product will help to absorb excess shine and Multi-Mineral Complex and antioxidant Vitamin A, C and E help balance and protect skin from “environmental aggressors.” It is talc and mineral oil free. Get it while it’s available, as it’s listed as being a Limited Edition. There are absolutely no cons to this, except that it’s not a permanent item– and I admit, it was so beautiful, I really didn’t want to “mess” it up to test it!
Painted Earth Boo-Boo Gel
The Boo-Boo Gel is one of Painted Earth’s best sellers. Fans of this product have written in to add to the list of what this natural and organic gel has been successfully used for: acne, cuts, bruises, mosquito bites, and to prevent razor burn after shaving, You can also try it to reduce the appearance of pores. If you have other suggested uses, let Painted Earth know.
To describe it…it’s very cooling, and the texture is sticky, but once you let it soak in to your skin, it dries smooth.
Ingredients: Organic Herbal Infusion, Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera Gel), Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, (2s)-2-Amino-5-guanidinopentanoic Acid, Organic Camellia Sinensis (Green/White Tea), Mentha Piperita (Peppermint Oil), Laevo Menthol (Menthol), Organic Arnica Montana (Arnica), Ethylhexyl Glycerin
The Boo-Boo Gel does not have to be refrigerated, but it can be for extra cooling as it soothes.
$25.00 for 2oz/ 60ml (includes free shipping in the US)
Painted Earth Endelible Gel Liner
Here’s the warning from Painted Earth: “Lash addicts beware: Painted Earth’s Gel liner is highly habit-forming.”
No joke, this Liner is amazing. I have Black Cherry to share with you.
Totally gorgeous color!! As you can hopefully see from the swatches, Black Cherry is a stunning color, and even a thin line gives you vibrant color and has a beautiful shine. I love that there is a glitter, even in a thin line.
The eyeliner formula is very smooth, so you can achieve a very precise thin line. Once dry, I had no smudging whatsoever.
It’s a nice bonus that Painted Earth supplies an eyeliner brush.
This may seem like a silly reminder, but…don’t forget to completely close the gel liner after use so it doesn’t dry out!
There are eight other gel liner colors in addition to Black Cherry. Check them all out on the Painted Earth Website.
Each liner is $17.80 (price includes free shipping in the US).
Painted Earth SuperWear Gel Liner
Once you let this eyeliner set, it is true to its name; it is not only smudge proof, but also waterproof. Simply use varying amounts of pressure on the liner for the look you want to achieve. I was able to test the color Noir, but there are also four other colors available.
Painted Earth Lips: Baby Hint of Mint
Baby Hint of Mint has a taste of, yes, mint, and it is not sticky!
The lipgloss is enriched with anti-oxidants, and Vitamin E and is priced at $6.50 There are 19 different colors to choose from at this time on the Website.
As indicated, all Painted Earth products include FREE shipping in the US.
Last thoughts…
When I was asked to review Painted Earth products, I just couldn’t believe all the products that were available. Not only should you check out other colors (that I didn’t test), but look at the other cosmetics and skincare products available. Painted Earth is great for cruelty free, one-stop shopping!
