Ellovi Butter: Vegan and Cruelty Free Skincare Review

ellovi Butter

Everything about ellovi Butter is wonderful and luxurious. First, ellovi Butter is not only cruelty free, but also vegan and gluten free. In fact, ellovi Butter is made by hand in a gluten free facility in California!

The packaging is a 3.5 oz (104ml) eco-friendly glass jar; and I love that when you unscrew the jar, the product is covered with a foam insert to protect the product from leaking if it gets too hot during shipping.

Ingredients in ellovi Butter

ellovi Butter does not contain parabens, SLS, synthetic chemicals, fillers, and other additives.

What it does have is incredibly moisturizing ingredients to soothe:  macadamia nut, coconut, and shea.

Hemp seed, which is an antioxidant, and marula nut oils, (which I’ve written about before), that have incredible anti-aging benefits.

ellovi Butter Facts:

The scent of the product is really delicious, and although it is safe enough to eat, I did not sample it. It’s a very lovely , nutty scent, and will absorb quickly into your skin. It is intended for use all over the body: for example, the arms, legs, and yes, the face, too. It is non-comedogenic, which means that it will not clog your pores! It really is so creamy and will make your skin feel very silky.

If you look above at the ingredients, you will notice that water is not listed. The inventors of ellovi Butter (Kelly Winterhalter and Ryan Pamplin) point out that although many popular body butters contain water, Ellovi Butter doesn’t use any water at all!  Kelly wrote this to me, “When you apply water to your skin externally it actually evaporates and dries it out. Using water dilutes the ingredients that are in there to benefit your skin, so you’re getting less of them. It requires the use of a preservative.”

Fortunately for users of the special ellovi Butter, there are no preservatives used!

This is just to show you how rich it is. Just a little bit of ellovi Butter is needed!

Just remember to keep your Body Butter in a cool, dry place, and I’m guessing you’ll use it within a year….but just in case, you’re trying to save it as a special product–don’t. Just treat yourself!

Ellovi Butter is recommended without reservation. It is incredibly nourishing and kept my skin completely hydrated, as advertised. Is it the fountain of youth? If the secret to staying young forever is, “moisture, moisture, and more moisture,” then I’m sure I’ll be looking young forever with Ellovi Butter!

Sounds amazing! I currently use pure shea but this sounds like it wouldn’t be a bad second option 🙂

  3. Great ingredients! Sound so nourishing for the skin…does it have any scent?

  4. Kristina V says:

Mmmm! I can practically smell the body butter…I love nut butters they are so warm and comforting

  5. OMG! This sounds so good. I’ll have to try it. Love that it’s Vegan!

  6. I make quite a bit of my skin care creams from my kitchen just using run of the mill houshold ingredients. It’s easy and cheap. This does sound great, though.
