Londontown Nail Polish: Cruelty free and Vegan

Londontown nail polish was revamped from an inherited family remedy. The nail polish formula combines nail care science with the nourishing properties of Britain’s rapeseed flower oil, chamomile, cucumber and other essential oils and extracts.  All Londontown products are vegan, gluten free and cruelty free.

I received three products:

Londowntown double decker bus

As Londontown points out, “We all love a day at the salon…the relaxation, indulgence, and the great manicure! Everyone loves to be pampered, but the truth is…finding the time each week to get your nails done isn’t always easy.” Actually, never mind just finding the time–it’s expensive! I love that the products allow you to have salon quality nails without going to the salon!

On my nails, I used one coat of the kur Nail Hardener, two coats of the lakur Purple Reign, and one coat of kur, the protective top coat. The Londontown system works by having a collection of products that repair, and strengthen. The Nail Hardener and Protective Top Coat work together to thicken the layers of keratin in the nail

Londontown Kur’s Nail Hardener & Protective Top Coat are 5-Free

They are formaldehyde-free, toluene-free, DBP-free, formaldehyde resin free and also camphor-free.

Purple Reign” “There is only one way to rule an empire — in style and royal colour!” Purple Reign is a deep, but bright regal purple–leaning toward blue tone.

There are no cons! I love that all Londontown products are cruelty free, vegan and gluten free!

Went to the site and saw a gorgeous black and a red. I have to admit I gulped after seeing the price tag. But I am sure is worth the sacrifice. But what has gluten free to do with a nail polish? I’m don’t follow.

    • Great question! Thank you for asking. This is a direct quote from Londontown: “Gluten-free is important in beauty products as it is in food that we eat. Some people, not everyone, but some people have allergies to gluten (which is found in a lot of bread/wheat foods). In some cases, if someone has an allergy to gluten in food, they also have the allergy in beauty products, because the ingredients in beauty products are absorbed into our blood stream.”
