Alba Botanica AcneDote Review

Alba Botanica

The first time I tried Alba Botanica AcneDote Clean ‘n Treat Towelettes was when I received it for review from the Vegan Cuts Leaping Bunny Fresh Start Kit. Alba Botanica I loved that the Alba Botanical AcneDote was cruelty free, 100% Vegetarian, had no Parabens or Phthalates, and was Leaping Bunny certified. Alba Botanica After I finished the sample size, I purchased the full size package of the Alba Botanica acne-fighting towelettes, which contains thirty. As advertised, they are terrific at removing make up and grime; and I was sold on the fact that the towelettes are free of parabens, sulfates and synthetic fragrances. The towelettes feel very soft, and are at a good price point (approximately $6.oo).

Because there are ingredients that can be drying to your skin, the directions are to use one application per day, and then gradually you can increase to using the towelettes two or three times a day. If you have too much dryness or any peeling, check with your doctor and reduce how often you use it! I have only used this once a day, and I never use it anywhere near my eye area. I just think it’s great for my cheeks, forehead and neck area, and excellent after working out– before I get to the shower. Cons?  The Alba Botanica towelettes have 2% salicylic acid, which is great to fight acne, but there is also witch hazel, which can be really irritating on some guys and gals skin. Also, learn from me: if you’re not careful to make certain you have tightly resealed the package, they will very quickly dry out! Alba Botanica

While the thirty pack is easy to find, the pack of ten has been difficult for me to locate, so I’ve had to order that size online. Disclosure: Nothing to disclose. Nuance Exfoliating Facial Gel Review from Salma Hayek

Nuance Exfoliating Facial Gel is cruelty free product with which I think you’ll be able to see a difference in your skin after you use it just a few times. This is not just some celebrity product that has a name slapped on it. This was inspired by Salma Hayek’s grandmother!

You only have to squeeze out a little bit of the Nuance Exfoliating Facial Gel and massage it onto your wet face in circular motions. Leave on for up to 5-6 minutes and then rinse with water or remove with a moist towel. I rinsed with warm water. Love the feel and smell of the product.
You do not need the amount of product I have photographed below to get a great exfoliation!
