See how sad the dog in the photo below looks? That’s how I felt when I learned that the non profit LA Love and Leashes is now in grave danger of closing. I knew from my previous post about the organization that LA Love and Leashes needed funding fast to keep their store open, and help save shelter animals. Now, the situation is dire.

Facts:

Friends of L.A. Animal Shelters, is non-profit, and run by volunteers. Their goal is to “help increase adoptions and raise the live save rate at Los Angeles’ city animal shelters.”

L.A. Love & Leashes is the first pet store that is 100% dedicated to helping companion animals at Los Angeles’ six animal shelters.

If you adopt a dog or cat, you save a life!  All of the dogs and cats available at L.A. Love & Leashes are from L.A. Animal Services

Remember, as Friends of L.A. Animal Shelters points out — dogs, cats, and other animals love us unconditionally. Please help them.
