Mitch Stone Texturizing Spray Review

Mitch Stone Texturizing Spray

While getting my hair done at the hairdresser, I read an article that Mitch Stone recommened using Texturizing Spray if you want to add more volume to your hair. So, after Mitch Stone Texturinzing Spray arrived in the mail, I was anxious to try it out. I’m sure you’ve heard of Mitch Stone as he’s been in the business over two decades. He’s an acclaimed hairstylist who works in film, television, editorial, advertising and of course, on the fashion circuit. He was part of the Oscar-winning hairstylist team on ‘Lemony Snicket’s Series of Unfortunate Events.’

Since it’s being featured, of course, you already know that the Mitch Stone Texturizing Spray is cruelty free. What really intrigued me is that Mitch Stone Texturizing Spray can be used on all hair types. You can safely use Mitch Stone if you not only have normal hair, but colored hair, or fine hair. In addition, you can apply the Texturzing Spray on wet or dry hair. I have used the Texturizing Spray several times already, and love it!

It’s very easy to use. I simply pumped the spray all throughout my wet hair, and while I concentrated it at the roots, I also worked it all the way to the ends of my hair. Then I blow-dried my hair. I loved that it gave my hair volume and texture, but it wasn’t at all stiff. In other words, it not only did not look like I had sprayed a ton of product on hair, it also didn’t feel that way. It left my hair looking glossy, and it did give my hair volume. All that is due to fact that the Mitch Stone Texturizing Spray is enriched with VCompS, a mixture of vitamins (E, C, B3, B5, B6), minerals, and papaya.

Take a look at the above photo. This was taken at the end of the evening (hence, my Hubby trying to find some decent lighting in the house). Even at the end of the day, the Mitch Stone Texturizing Spray gave my hair a beautiful shine, my hair had volume and bounce, and you can see a nice wave was still present. I added an arrow to the photo, just in case! I don’t like when products leave not only an obvious look of product in the hair, but also, when you run your fingers through, you can feel it. Mitch Stone Texturizing Spray was just perfect for my hair. Check out the Mitch Stone website to learn more and find out where you can purchase products: http://www.mitchstonehair.com/

Infinity Braid Tutorial for Hair Inspiration

Infinity Braid Tutorial

Infinity Braid Tutorial is an excellent guide for those people who have at least medium long hair to make this braided updo. Even though it looks like you’d need to be a professional to achieve the look, the author, Roxie Jane Hunt, contributor for www.Latest-Hairstyles.com, assures us you don’t.

The infinity braid tutorial is worth a look if you need a style for day two hair–and more. It’s also a great hairstyle for either a casual look, or a formal evening.

Step 1: For the infinity braid updo, section your head of hair into threes. Have two small side sections, and then one large section, right down the middle. Now French braid one of your side sections.

Step 2:Make a typical three strand braid on your remaining side section, and larger middle section. Now, secure all the braids with a small elastic.

Step 3: Start with your center braid, and wrap it loosely into a bun.

Step 4: Use bobby pins around the bun to make it secure.

Step 5: Now, take the French braided section, and wrap it under and around your middle bun. Put bobby pins to hold it into place.

Step 6: Now take your remaining smaller side braid, and wrap it over and then around your middle bun. Bobby pin that braid into place. If you wish, spray the entire look with a cruelty free hairspray.

Katniss Braid Tutorial From Mockingjay Part 2

Katniss Braid Tutorial From Mockingjay Part 2

I’d like to share a Katniss Braid Tutorial from Mockingjay Part 2. Has anyone seen the movie yet? I’m waiting until the Thanksgiving break when my kids don’t have to worry about doing homework! So, even though this is a pretty straightforward hairstyle, the person who designed the tutorial, Wendy Rose Gould, suggests that if you want to recreate the Katniss braid tutorial, you may need hair extensions. However, if you don’t need to add length, just skip to step 3.
  Katniss Braid Tutorial

If you need to apply cruelty free hair extensions, the first step is to prep you hair by applying a cruelty free hair serum.

The hair serum will tame your hair frizz and make it easier to not only manage, but it will also help create the same shine that many hair extensions have. That way it will blend a bit easier, too.

The second step is to add the hair extensions.

Step three is to move your hair to one side of your head.

Step 4: Part Your Hair

Simply part your hair down the center.

Step 5: Fishtail Braid

Now you need to make a fishtail braid (which Wendy Rose Gould promises is not difficult). Divide your hair into two sections, and then drag an outer piece of your hair from one section over to the other section. Pull that tight, and then repeat on the opposite side.

Continue pulling tight as your braid your hair, and then secure with a clear elastic.

All your hair should be draped to one side of your head, and if this is diffucult, use bobby pins. Pull out sections of hair so you have that“piece-y,” lived in look.

You can use a cruelty free texturizer, or more serum to get those strands. Also twist each of these pieces to keep them separated.

Katniss Braid Tutorial Does it look as beautiful as the photo? Keep practicing!

Karmin Salon Pro G3 Styling Iron Review

Karmin Salon Pro G3 Styling Iron

The Karmin Salon Pro G3 Styling Iron is, by far, the best styling iron I have ever owned! This model is perfect for any time of the year, but certainly in the summer, when, on the East Coast, where I live, it gets very hot and humid. I can wash my hair and let it dry naturally. Sometimes it looks great…and sometimes, it’s a disaster! To the rescue: The Karmin Pro.
