July 4th Nail Art 2016

July 4th Nail Art 2016

Deciding what designs to put on my July 4th Nail Art 2016 post took some time, and deciding what cruelty free polish to use for it took almost as long. I used Milani for my 2015 one, so I was thinking I should use a different brand. My children are now teenagers, so of course, they don’t want to be named, so I’ll just write that one of them helped me to organize my polish into red, white, and blue piles. Yes, I still went with Milani. It’s certifed cruelty free by the Leaping Bunny Program.

In case anyone is interested in looking into my red, white and blue shades of nail polish, the photo is below. They are all cruelty free, and most are also vegan.

I wanted to choose an American brand of polish, and I needed the polish to have the correct shade of, you guessed it, red, white, and blue. Milani Cosmetics has amazing quality nail polish for a very fair price. Most of the time, I can easily find their latest beauty products at my local drugstores. (Yes, you can also order online).

Valentine’s Day Nail Art: Milani & 100% Pure Polish

Valentine’s Day Nail Art

February 1st means it’s time for some Valentine’s Day nail art! I have used two brands that are, of course, cruelty free: 100% Pure and Milani. In addition, they are both Leaping Bunny approved brands. 100% Pure is a vegan nail polish. I used 100% Pure Horsetail Base Coat. Then, I applied two coats of the shade Innocence. It’s a really pretty, soft, pink. Then, I used Milani for some of my nail tips. I also used it for the glitter in the shade Disco Lights.

I love both nail polish companies because the nail polish is extremely easy to apply, the shades are so pretty, and the price is always reasonable!

No surprise, but it’s always very interesting to see how different a manicure looks in different lights. The first photo of my Valentine’s Day Nail Art was taken during the daylight hours. This is my favorite, because it shows just how delicate the pink shade is, and the lovely glitter polish.

This is one day later, and it’s in the evening, trying to find some good lighting for you to see the colors and the glitter of my Valentine’s Day Nail Art.

Halloween Nails with Vegan & Cruelty Free Polish

Halloween Nails with Vegan & Cruelty Free Polish

You can check out my other post with Halloween Nail Art; this one is Halloween Nails with vegan & cruelty free polish. I wanted my nails to have only vegan nail polish, but one of my favorite drug store brands is “just” cruelty free. Obviously, when you do your own nails, you can decide for yourself, but while all the readers of my blog (I hope) use only cruelty free products, not everyone is a vegan.

Keep reading and I’ll give you all the details of both the polish and whether they are vegan, in addition to being cruelty free.

July 4th Nail Art with Milani Nail Lacquer

July 4th Nail Art with Milani Nail Lacquer

I’ve looked at so many nail art designs, so here’s my cruelty free take on a July 4th Nail Art with Milani Lacquer. Milani Lacquer is, and always has been, cruelty free! The design is based on what I saw that Broadway Nail, imPRESS manicure, had for a design. You can look it up, since I’m not sure I’m “allowed” to show it due to copyright issues.

A bit of history about Milani Cosmetics:

Milani Cosmetics has amazing quality for a very fair price. I love that I can quickly pick up their beauty products at my local drugstores. In addition to nail polish, they have products for your eyes, lips and face.

“You’ll find yourself in Milani Cosmetics. The very best version of you.”

Memorial Day Nail Art 2015

Memorial Day Nail Art 2015

Today is Memorial Day in the United States, and as Time pointed out, “It’s easy to forget what Memorial Day actually means while you’re sitting by the pool and looking ahead at summer vacation—but the day signifies much more than just a three-day weekend.” So please, remember all those who have died while serving in the United States armed forces!

Memorial Day Nail Art

For my Memorial Day nail art, I used all cruelty free nail polish from Milani.

I used Milani Red Label (40), Blue Print (26), and Spotlight White (28) for the Memorial Day nail art.

Clearly, my nail art is not as professional looking as that of Manic Talons. I’ll work on it!
