Let’s help out our furry friends! Friends of L.A. Animal Shelters, is non-profit, and run by volunteers. Their goal is to “help increase adoptions and raise the live save rate at Los Angeles’ city animal shelters.”
In Jan. of this year, Los Angeles Animal Shelters opened L.A. Love & Leashes. This is such a wonderful idea! It’s the first pet store that is one hundred percent dedicated to helping companion animals at Los Angeles six animal shelters.
Ways you can help, no matter where you live:
Adopt. Save a life! All of the dogs and cats available for adoption at L.A. Love & Leashes are from L.A. Animal Services.
Shop. Check the link for the address and store hours.
Jennifer Mathews (The Beauty Bunny) is doing some pro bono social media work for them. They need funding fast so they can keep the store open and help save more shelter animals.
Remember, as Friends of L.A. Animal Shelters points out — dogs, cats, and other animals love us unconditionally. Please help them. Thank you!
