ani MICHELE Nail Polish

I received two bottles of the ani MICHELE Nail Polish. The first shade was Love Bug, an absolutely gorgeous shade of red. Here’s a link to that in case you haven’t yet read my post.

Ani Sousamian is the founder and owner of Ani Michele Products LLC, better known as ani MICHELE on the beautiful lacquer bottles. ani MICHELE is cruelty free, vegan, made in the United States, and 5 Free of chemicals!

Just a reminder that 5 Free of chemicals means that all the polishes are not only made without the three common chemicals found in nail polishes (toluene, dibutyl phthalate, formaldehyde), but also without two other dangerous chemicals (formaldehyde resin and camphor).
The second shade of the ani MICHELE Nail Polish is Reach for the Stars. Check out this awesome shade in the photos that follow!

I love that Ani so strongly belives in staying positive and hoping for the best. Look on the bottom of each of the ani MICHELE Nail Polish, and you will read the inspirational motto, “always believe that something wonderful is about to happen.”

I applied two coats of the polish on all my nails except the thumb, and then I applied a top coat to them. On my thumb, I applied only one coat of nail polish, and did not apply a top coat

It’s important that my readers see that you don’t have to be a nail blogger to have your nails look great with the the ani MICHELE Nail Polish. While I would never claim to have the skills of a nail professional, I’m simply trying to show that anyone can purchase Ani’s polish, paint their nails, and have a gorgeous look!

You can not only wear a fancy dress with ani MICHELE Nail Polish Reach for the Stars on your nails, but you can also feel just as appropriate wearing your favorite pair of ripped jeans. Reminder, there are two coats of the polish on all my nails except the thumb, and then a top coat added. On my thumb, I only applied one coat of polish, and did not apply a top coat

I love the two shades of the ani MICHELE polish, and the look and feel of the glass bottle. In addition, the brush is just the right width for easily painting my fingernails.

The ani MICHELE nail polish is fast drying, long lasting, and they have a fabulous glossy sheen without even a top coat. Just to give you some idea, the first shade that I tested, the red shade, Love Bug, I had on for a total of six days. With the exception of very minor chips (as I do use my hands in my everyday life!), it was absolutely superb. And yes, it was very easy to simply paint on a bit of polish and no one was the wiser. Here are photos of me actually wearing the polish and doing some typical tasks like starting to make dinner, while I took a break from completing a Reach for the Stars undercoat. Doesn’t the polish look gorgeous?! The next photo is me typing on my keyboard.

Skull and Spikes Nail Art Deborah Lippmann

Skull and Spikes Nail Art

Today’s Monday Manicure is a skull and spikes nail art using Deborah Lippmann nail polish.  Of course, the skull and spikes nail art is using a brand of polish that is cruelty free! Deborah Lippmann is 5-free, which means that there are none of the chemicals commonly found in nail polish: formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate, and toluene; in addition, there is also no formaldehyde resin and camphor!

The black shade of polish that I used for the skull and spikes nail art is Fade to Black, a great classic black that I love because, as advertised, it is definitely, “as elegant as it is edgy.” The two reds that I used are Lady is a Tramp, and Ruby Red Slippers, the glitter topper, which it seems like I’ve have had in my collection forever!

The Fade to Black, looks like your typical black in the bottle. You can try it and see if I’m imagining that it is slightly different from all the other black shades that I have.

Except for my ring finger, I used a top coat on all my nails. So, the black is really as shiny as van be, without the extra step!
