What is a Konjac Sponge? This is a face and body sponge that is from the root of the Amorphophallus konjac plant. This is an edible plant, naturally rich with moisture, and by it’s nature, is alkaline.

As I have written before, there are imitations of the Konjac Sponge Company brand. These products may not have been approved, and may contain impurities, microbes and mildew! In addition, the quality is not as soft, and not as long lasting; they may not even be 100% pure Konjac. Even if they happen to be Konjac, there may be “bits” and impurities in their sponges. The Konjac Sponge Company has sponges that are made to the highest standards, and have been rigorously tested to satisfy trading standards; they have passed all sorts of microbe test requirements. Make sure you are purchasing an authentic Konjac Sponge!

Benefits of the French Red Clay Konjac Sponge?
Deep cleansing and very gentle exfoliating!
When used, “it is said to improve blood circulation, makes the skin look radiant, hydrated, and will reduce the appearance of wrinkles and broken capillaries.”
I have broken capillaries, and as promised, I definitely saw that the French Red Clay Konjac Sponge made them less noticeable!
I was using the French Red Clay Sponge every evening and wasn’t sure if that was appropriate.
Michele responded, “It is fine for the sponges all (face and body) to be used as often as wanted. I personally use my face sponge twice a day when I wash, and the body sponges I use every day in the shower. It is so gentle, its almost impossible to use them too much!”
Reminders: Do not wring out your sponge, and do not leave it in the shower/tub. Hang in a cool and well ventilated area to dry. As you can see, it’s very easy to hang to dry, as a string is attached to the sponge!
