What is Seaweed Soap? Why would you want to use it?
This is the first time I’ve ever tried seaweed soap. Reviva Labs kindly sent some for review, and I’m really glad that they did!
Seaweed Soap is not only great to clean your body, but also will serve as an excellent natural exfoliator! The key is the Seaweed grains in it!
Use the soap when you’re taking a bath or a shower. Lather and then thoroughly rinse off the soap. While this can be used on the face, I did not test it in that capacity; I instead like to use the Reviva Labs Light Skin Peel for exfoliating my face.
How is the Seaweed Soap Different?
It is Animal Friendly! Yes, Reviva Labs is cruelty free. What I mean by animal friendly is that unlike soaps made with animal tallow (which is termed, sodium tallowate), this is a pure vegetable base consisting of palm and coconut oils! Vegan product!
Ingredients: Soap (sodium palmate and cocoate types), water, sorbitan oleate, Atlantic and/or Pacific seaweed grains, glycerin, walnut shell powder, Atlantic and/or Pacific seaweeds, microscopic blue-green algae, sodium chloride, trisodium hedta, fragrance, iron oxides
The Seaweed soap really lathered up well, and I loved the exfoliating factor. It never irritated my skin. You’ll have to determine for yourself, based on your own skin type, how hard to scrub, but I had no problems.
I definitely recommend Reviva Labs Seaweed Soap!
