Deco Miami Nail Lacquer Review & Photos

Deco Miami Nail Lacquer

Deco Miami Nail Lacquer is a cruelty free and vegan nail polish that I introduced you to in a previous post by the founder, Jules D.. I received the lacquer (in the photo below) as a participation prize for entering a Deco Miami Nail Lacquer contest for an Art Deco inspired nail art design. The shade is Brickell Blue.

The photo below shows a building in South Beach that inspired my Art Deco nail art design. That was the first time I ever tried an Art Deco design.

Deco Miami is an eight free nail lacquer. That means that it is free of the following eight ingredients:

  1. DBP
  2. formaldehyde
  3. formaldehyde resin
  4. toluene
  5. camphor
  6. parabens xylene,
  7. ethyl tosylamide
  8. THPH

Where do you keep your humongous stash of nail polish? In a box, a drawer, or maybe even a shelf? Wouldn’t you love to have a nail polish that was so beautiful you would want to display it on your vanity? The diamond shaped box, with hand drawn illustrations of South Beach, is so beautiful. In fact, it’s so nice, I admit, I am keeping it! Yes, there is the beautiful box below, that has the Deco Miami logo, a diamond shape and circles, on it. Jules illustrated the boxes!! In looking at the website, I noticed that there are different hues used on the boxes, depending on the shade that you purchase.

For my Art Deco design, I was inspired by the colors on the box.

You can see how gorgeous two coats of Brickell Blue, a deep metallic blue is without my applying a top coat! I did use a top coat on all my other nails (which includes Brickell Blue, in a triangle at the top). I believe that the photos show that the Deco Miami Nail Lacquer nails (without a top coat) looked as glossy as the three nails with a top coat.

The other shades I used for my nail art were from another brand of vegan nail polish.

Here’s a close up of my nails:

Based on the Brickell Blue shade, I can write that I believe that everyone would want to display the beautiful Art Deco designed glass bottle on their vanity. The size is really cute, too; it’s .17 fl oz/5 ML. It was very easy to work with, and there were absolutely no issues applying it. I used two coats of the beautiful blue, but it was opaque in one coat. Totally smooth and glossy! I highly recommend the Deco Miami Brickell Blue! Check out their website, for current pricing, and more information.

I received two bottles of the ani MICHELE Nail Polish. The first shade was Love Bug, an absolutely gorgeous shade of red. Here’s a link to that in case you haven’t yet read my post.

I applied two coats of the polish on all my nails except the thumb, and then I applied a top coat to them. On my thumb, I applied only one coat of nail polish, and did not apply a top coat

It’s important that my readers see that you don’t have to be a nail blogger to have your nails look great with the the ani MICHELE Nail Polish. While I would never claim to have the skills of a nail professional, I’m simply trying to show that anyone can purchase Ani’s polish, paint their nails, and have a gorgeous look!

You can not only wear a fancy dress with ani MICHELE Nail Polish Reach for the Stars on your nails, but you can also feel just as appropriate wearing your favorite pair of ripped jeans. Reminder, there are two coats of the polish on all my nails except the thumb, and then a top coat added. On my thumb, I only applied one coat of polish, and did not apply a top coat

I love the two shades of the ani MICHELE polish, and the look and feel of the glass bottle. In addition, the brush is just the right width for easily painting my fingernails.

The ani MICHELE nail polish is fast drying, long lasting, and they have a fabulous glossy sheen without even a top coat. Just to give you some idea, the first shade that I tested, the red shade, Love Bug, I had on for a total of six days. With the exception of very minor chips (as I do use my hands in my everyday life!), it was absolutely superb. And yes, it was very easy to simply paint on a bit of polish and no one was the wiser. Here are photos of me actually wearing the polish and doing some typical tasks like starting to make dinner, while I took a break from completing a Reach for the Stars undercoat. Doesn’t the polish look gorgeous?! The next photo is me typing on my keyboard.
